Description

Lanark Development Collection: Buildings which were demolished during the construction of 820 Main Street New Harmony Indiana. Demolition of the red block building on the corner of Main and South Streets. This was E. E. Boyer's Service Station, which had replaced William Ford's Tobacco and Grain warehouse at some point after 1907 but before 1924. The building in the center of the background was moved to one block north of The Posey County News on 3rd Street, New Harmony, Indiana.
