Streets: This historic photo of the north side of tavern street, between Main and Brewery, was taken after 1888 but before 1907. The buildings from right to left are: F. C. Husband Hardware and Groceries, The New Harmony Jail, the Livery Stable (either Pitt's & Smith or later Pote's), and on the far left side The Blacksmith's Shop (more of it is visible on the actual slide). Note the water well in front of Husband's shop.
