Transparencies and Negatives Collection: Historic photographs. The Lichtenberger House: This house is located on the northwest corner of Tavern and West Streets and was built in 1843. This was the home of the Lichtenberger family who owned a well-known store on the corner of Main and Tavern Streets. This photo shows two of the Lichtenberger children sitting in the pony buggy of a traveling photographer, probably with their father.
