Continental Emsco Company: This building was located on the plat just west of 723 E. Church Street and was dismantled to accommodate the Golden House which was later moved onto this plat. The Continental Emsco Company was incorporated June 4, 1946 in the state of Texas, and dissolution of the company occurred January 31, 1984. The company was in the business of drilling oil wells. In this photo there is no sign of the old building left. The plat has been cleared and leveled for the Golden House to be moved onto it.
