Ford's Store: This building is located at 433 Tavern Street which is at the corner of Main and Tavern Streets. In 1924 this building was remodeled into the Ribeyre Gymnasium. In this photo, two men are standing on the porch of the store while horse buggies line Tavern Street on the north side of the building. The brick building, just behind Ford's store, was the original New Harmony School House was an original Rappite structure. This building was demolished in 1913 when construction on Murphy Auditorium began.
