Ford's Store: This building is located at 433 Tavern Street which is at the corner of Main and Tavern Streets. In 1924 this building was remodeled into the Ribeyre Gymnasium. This is a photo of a tree that had been felled, probably near-by New Harmony, from which almost 1, 500 feet of lumber was produced. Four men sit on the log, and a fifth stands behind it to the right. It took a team of six horses/mules to pull the wagon to haul it.
