Beal House: The Beal House was moved during the Lanark Construction, on Town Block 8 E/W on Main Street to 611 Church Street. The Beal house was constructed around 1829 by John Beal, who was a carpenter in the Owen and Maclure community. Beal constructed the house from lumber and timbers from an older horse barn. The new location would be the site of the Beal House and 1850s Doctor's Office (The Doctor's Office was a remodel of the Kemmerling House, which was also moved to this site). This is a photo of Owen's Garage. The Beal House was relocated in front of this building and the building itself was remodeled from a service station to a residence.
