TY - GEN N2 - The Jaquess House: This is a photo of the Jaquess House, from which the parlor was taken, was moved from somewhere near Poseyville. It was then taken through a field to near the edge of a highway where it was dismantled. The parlor was then incorporated into the Owen House on the corner of Tavern and Brewery Streets in town block 6 E east. In this photo the house is at the location where is was dismantled. The house was moved by Elmer Buchta moving engineers, a company that did most if not all of the moving in New Harmony at this time.
