TY - GEN AB - Schnee House: This photo is of the second Schnee home located at 603 West Street and was constructed in 1876. The first Schnee home was constructed during the Rappite occupation of the town, the Schnee brothers having moved to the town from the Quaker colony in Pennsylvania, and that house was located at 517 Tavern Street. The Gypsy Girl Livery Stable was later constructed behind that home. This is the south side of the house. Brackets can be seen on the wall just above the cellar door, probably once held a flower box.
