Murphy Auditorium: This building is located at 419 Tavern Street, the older brick building, just behind Ford's store, was the original New Harmony School House, an original Rappite structure. This building was demolished in 1913 when construction on Murphy Auditorium began. This photo was probably taken soon after the auditorium was finished. The Working Men's Institute is just barely visible on the right side of the photo.
