Historic Photo. Streets Collection: Main Street. This photo is a panoramic view of Main Street, facing toward the south during the Horse Show Day in 1906. Interestingly, two different photos of this event were taken one from the east side of the street and one from the west. Both photo locations can be seen in the other photo (MSS 247- 8017) this one is from the west side of the street taken from the Drug Store window where a woman and a girl are watching in MSS 247 - 8017 (the man who took that photo can be seen on top of the Henry Brown awning). Phone and/or power lines are present already, however the hanging street lights are not.
