After meeting with MacLeod, Mrs. Jane Blaffer Owen returned to New Harmony to begin a similar Christian movement in the United States. She created the Barn Abbey to provide this movement with an interdenominational Christian Center. The MacLeod Barn Abbey is located at 810 and is owned and operated by the Robert Lee Blaffer Foundation.
