There was a hotel on this lot during the mid-19th century and it remained until sometime before 1893 when it was converted to a series of attached dwellings. The housing complex was demolished some time before 1899 by which time the house is represented on the Sanborn Map. It was probably built by David Randolph. The large house was still marked on the 1943 Sanborn Fire Insurance Map however, it was demolished at some point when a Zephyr filling station was built on the property which was itself demolished during the Theater Barn Construction and Cooper House Move. This photo probably shows the foundations of the Randolph House. 001551879 542__ $$fhttp://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC-NC/1.0/ 001551879 6531_ $$aBinder 12 001551879 6531_ $$aTown Map 4F 001551879 6531_ $$aCommunal Studies 001551879 6531_ $$aPhotographs 001551879 6531_ $$aRegional History 001551879 6531_ $$aRelated Materials -- 1951-2000 001551879 655__ $$aColor Slide 001551879 691__ $$aIndiana 001551879 7001_ $$aHistoric New Harmony 001551879 8564_ $$9f57eca61-44da-4541-b535-fa9d52b08201$$s4450240$$uhttps://library.usi.edu/record/1551879/files/4830.jp2 001551879 8564_ $$99819d78f-3275-46e7-b07a-9be89f0e04f0$$s1564214$$uhttps://library.usi.edu/record/1551879/files/4830.jpg 001551879 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:1551879$$pGLOBAL_SET 001551879 914__ $$ap17218coll9 001551879 980__ $$aHistoric New Harmony Slide Collection 001551879 984__ $$aHistoric New Harmony Slide Collection 001551879 985__ $$aImage
