The Jaquess House: This is a photo of the Jaquess House, from which the parlor was taken, was moved from somewhere near Poseyville. It was then taken through a field to near the edge of a highway where it was dismantled. The parlor was then incorporated into the Owen House on the corner of Tavern and Brewery Streets in town block 6 E east. This photo is of the early period stencils which were painted on the walls. These stencils were based on originals which were discovered under layers of wallpaper in the Jaquess House.
