Breith Building: This building is located at 506 Main Street. The building started as a one-story wooden structure built by Jacob Breith (UA58 7516 far left) as a pharmacy and grocery store. The original building was demolished to make room for the new two-story brick structure at some point between 1893 and 1899. The Historic New Harmony Office was located on the second floor of the building in the early 1970s. The Kopper Kettle Gift Shop was located in the J. Breith Building during the early 1970s. After the J. Breith Building was renovated, it became home to the Imoko Plants shop, very briefly, before becoming a part of the New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art as the sales floor. This is a photo of the doorway between the Breith and Heckman Buildings where Historic New Harmony had their offices. Note the address is 506 1/2 Main Street. 001552012 542__ $$fhttp://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC-NC/1.0/ 001552012 6531_ $$aBinder 17 001552012 6531_ $$aTown Map 5E/NW 001552012 6531_ $$aCommunal Studies 001552012 6531_ $$aPhotographs 001552012 6531_ $$aRegional History 001552012 6531_ $$aRelated Materials -- 1951-2000 001552012 655__ $$aColor Slide 001552012 691__ $$aIndiana 001552012 7001_ $$aHistoric New Harmony 001552012 8564_ $$99f84787e-c229-463b-a133-bd6ddbb58640$$s894586$$uhttps://library.usi.edu/record/1552012/files/4877.jpg 001552012 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:1552012$$pGLOBAL_SET 001552012 914__ $$ap17218coll9 001552012 980__ $$aHistoric New Harmony Slide Collection 001552012 984__ $$aHistoric New Harmony Slide Collection 001552012 985__ $$aImage
