There was a hotel on this lot during the mid-19th century and it remained until sometime before 1893 when it was converted to a series of attached dwellings. The housing complex was demolished some time before 1899 by which time the house is represented on the Sanborn Map. It was probably built by David Randolph. The large house was still marked on the 1943 Sanborn Fire Insurance Map however, it was demolished at some point when a Zephyr filling station was built on the property which was itself demolished during the Theater Barn Construction and Cooper House Move. This is the back garage of the Zephyr Station and the rear of Thrall's Opera House just east of it. 001552062 542__ $$fhttp://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC-NC/1.0/ 001552062 6531_ $$aBinder 12 001552062 6531_ $$aTown Map 4F 001552062 6531_ $$aCommunal Studies 001552062 6531_ $$aPhotographs 001552062 6531_ $$aRegional History 001552062 6531_ $$aRelated Materials -- 1951-2000 001552062 655__ $$aColor Slide 001552062 691__ $$aIndiana 001552062 7001_ $$aHistoric New Harmony 001552062 8564_ $$97a189aa5-1aa1-4f8e-a1c6-6f7e3b2892da$$s1966645$$uhttps://library.usi.edu/record/1552062/files/4503.jp2 001552062 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:1552062$$pGLOBAL_SET 001552062 914__ $$ap17218coll9 001552062 980__ $$aHistoric New Harmony Slide Collection 001552062 984__ $$aHistoric New Harmony Slide Collection 001552062 985__ $$aImage
