Transparencies and Negatives Collection: Historic photographs. 1830 Owen House: This building is located on the southwest corner of Tavern and Brewery Streets this location is also known as Wiley�s Corner. The house was commissioned by Robert Dale Owen and brother David Dale Owen but was used as a rental property. In the 1970s the hose underwent major rehabilitation and refurbishment, at which time part of the Jaquess House, from which the parlor was taken and moved from somewhere near Poseyville, was added on the west side of the building. This photo shows the building during refurbishment.
