The Jaquess House: This is a photo of the Jaquess House, from which the parlor was taken, was moved from somewhere near Poseyville. It was then taken through a field to near the edge of a highway where it was dismantled. The parlor was then incorporated into the Owen House on the corner of Tavern and Brewery Streets in town block 6 E east. This is the parlor as it was in place at the 1830 Owen House but not yet finished or connected to the cinderblock (concrete block) building on the west side of the Owen House.
