Description

Ford's Store: This building is located at 433 Tavern Street which is at the corner of Main and Tavern Streets. In 1924 this building was remodeled into the Ribeyre Gymnasium. This is a photo of six women and three men standing on the porch of Ford's Store. A sign on the right of the photo reads: New Embroideries To The Queene's Taste. This indicates the photo was taken before Queen Victoria died in 1901. Some of the people are identified as Grace Franklin, Nina Hawkins, Homer Lichtenberger the gentleman on the left, Molie Wiley, Pina Franzmann.
