Description
Streets: This location has a long history. Originally part of, most likely, the site of the old Hiatt and Owen lumber yard, afterward definitely the site of a grain warehouse operated by Hiatt's widow then passed to their son George, and eventually, sometime after 1907, a series of detached wood frame houses. This one had been located on the corner of East and Steam Mill Streets, where the old grain warehouse office once stood. This is the remains after that house was demolished and before the brick house was constructed later in the year.
