Transparencies and Negatives Collection: Historic photographs. On March 24 and 25 of 1913 the Wabash River had produced a large flood, which inundated the town of New Harmony, from torrential rains and storms which had also produced tornados across the mid-west United States. At its height it measured 27 feet 10 inches. This is a photo of Church Street, facing west, near the corner with Raintree Street.
