Summary
U.S. Congressman Charles LaFollette (left) and others, touring damage in Fulham West, England. From December 7, 1940 to June 6, 1941, some 419 high explosive bombs were dropped in Hammersmith and Fulham during World War II. (http://www.bombsight.org/explore/greater-london/hammersmith-and-fulham/) Charles M. LaFollette was member of the U.S. House of Representatives, from the state of Indiana, from 1943-1947. In 1947 he served as deputy chief of counsel for war crimes in the Nuremberg war trials.
