Three Bird Swan has designed and manufactured a solar powered waste processing system that uses human waste to create non-potable water, which is named Omnus, or Operational Machinery Needed for Universal Sanitation. Three Bird Swan has been working in collaboration with both the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as well as the University of Southern Indiana to develop and test the Omnus system. This senior design project consists of a design for a modular waste processing system that can be easily moved and maintained without the need for experienced engineers or highly trained technicians, along with overcoming the challenges faced in Three Bird Swan's Omnus Version One waste processing system.}, url = {http://library.usi.edu/record/1559874}, doi = {https://doi.org/10.58090/usi.1559874}, }
