The Reverend Albert Cleage Jr. and the Black Prophetic Tradition, 2022: CIP galley (Rev. Albert Cleage Jr., later change his name to Jaramogi Abebe Agyeman; born in Indianapolis, Indiana in June of 1911; grew up in Detroit; graduated from Detroit Northwestern and obtained his BA in sociology at Wayne State University and his Bachelor of Divinity from Oberlin Graduate School of Theology; ordained in the Congregational Christian Churches; Throughout the 1960s, Cleage was active in issues of education and black political leadership; launched the Black Christian National Movement in 1967; founded Black Christian Nationalism which would also be identified as the Pan-African Orthodox Christian Church (PAOCC))
