Summary
On an island off the west coast of Ireland, a small boy plays by a stream. His father looks on, unaware he is framed in the sights of a high powered rifle. A traditional house in the exclusive Akasaka district of Tokyo is invaded by assassins. Their target is eighty four years old. Though these two killing gruonds are half a world apart, they are linked by one man - Hugo Fitzduane, a former soldier and battle-hardened war photographer, who lives every moment of his life in the shadow of violent death. From the empty crags of west Ireland to the densely populated cities of Japan the enemies of Fitzduane combine forces. Ever the targe of international terrorism, Fitzduane only knows one way to lift the threat from those he loves - vengeance!
