Continuation of a national emergency with respect to the Export Administration Act of 1979 : communication from the President of the United States transmitting a notice of continuation of national emergency beyond August 17, 2006 declared by Executive Order 13222 of August 17, 2001, to deal with the threat to the national security, foreign policy, and economy of the United States caused by the lapse of the Export Administration Act of 1979, pursuant to 50 U.S.C. 1622(d).
