This volume is based on the author's research in around 100 foreign companies, looking into 17 companies in greater detail. These 17 case studies were chosen to reflect a variety of industries, including electronics and electronic components, construction machinery, chemicals, nonferrous metals, automotive components, and oil and gas; as well as a variety of head-office locations including Argentina, Brazil, China, Hungary, Malaysia, Russia, Sweden, Taiwan, the USA and Vietnam.
