Alexander Ramsay = Allan Ramsay. A friend = George Sewell. Signatures: pi² A-C⁴. The ornaments are those used by Henry Woodfall. Ramsay's poem was first published separately in Edinburgh as 'Wealth, or the woody'; in this edition, it has a separate titlepage reading 'Wealth: or, the woody' with Ramsay incorrectly identified as Alexander Ramsay and with the imprint: "Printed at Edinburgh, and reprinted at London, 1720".
