Address'd to His Grace the Duke of Grafton, and the Right Honourable the Earl of Northumberland, lords-lieutenants of counties, and commanders of militia. By a late Victorious Generalissimo's Grandson, formerly forc'd away from the Royal Train of Artillery in England, without a lawful Discharge, and most illegally detain'd Eleven Years in a Marching Regiment Abroad; whose Damages successively sustain'd (upon the same Account) amount to 3000 Guineas, by a moderate Computation; besides 300 Guineas or upwards of long Arrears, according to His Majesty's Express Articles of War. For the Neglect of such Precepts, a late Admiral was seemingly Shot, and certain General Officers have justly deserv'd the same Fate; who stopt their Soldiers full stipends, except only Fourteen Pence a Week, until they wanted strength to defend their respective Fortresses.
