A translation by Joseph Harris of 'Les fables de Pilpay', 1698, which purported to be a translation of the Kalı̄lah wa-Dimnah, but was in fact a translation by Gilbert Gaulmin and Dāwūd Sa'ı̄d of the first four chapters of the Persian 'Anvār i Suhaylı̄'.
