A description of the several pageants, exhibited on the 29th day of October, 1689, being the day on which the late Sir Thomas Pilkington, knt. entered a second time on his mayoralty, Together With Several Speeches address'd to his Lordship: Also Two Songs, One to their then Majesties, and the other to the Lord-Mayor. The Whole being design'd for the Entertainment of King William and Queen Mary, their Royal Highnesses the Prince and Princess of Denmark, the whole Court, and both Houses of Parliament, who honoured his Lordship with their Presence, was done at the sole Expense of the Worshipful Company of Skinners: and is now published for the perusal of the several companies of London, agreeable to the recommendation of the Right Honourable Sir Matthew Blakiston, knt. Lord-Mayor, and the Court of Common Council, held on Saturday the 3d of October, 1761, to the Livery Companies of the said City, for the Entertainment of their present Majesties, on Monday the 9th Day of November next, being the Day on which Sir Samuel Fludyer, Knt. and Bart. Lord-Mayor elect will enter on his Mayoralty [electronic resource].
