The first dissertation, by Johann Juncker, was published in Halle in 1718, the second, by Hermannus Jacobus Burchardi, was published in Wittenberg in 1725.

Bowyer's records show 300 copies printed (entered 29 June 1732), and apparently a second edition or printing of 300 copies (entered 16 November).
