The Situation and Extent of the several Kingdoms, and Nations in each Quarter; their chief City; with the Distance, Direction, and Difference of Time from London. IV. An Account of the several Island, Trade, Commodities, Religions, principal Mountains, and Rivers in the World; also some Observations on the less known Parts, the Trade Winds, and Monsoons. V. The Explanation and Use of a new Set of Maps, annex'd to the several Quarters, drawn according to the most approved modern Projections, and regulated by Caelestial Observations. VI. A new and curious Geographical Clock, which points out the Difference of Time, with the Hour, in the different Nations upon Earth, at one View. To which is added, a description of the terrestrial globe ; With Its Application to such Problems as every Day occur. Concluding with some curious Phoenomena exhibited upon it in a darkened Room; and a few select Paradoxes, intended to excite the Attention of the Learner. The Whole laid down in a Manner so easy and natural, as to be understood in a few Days. Addressed to the young Gentlemen and Ladies of Great Britain and Ireland.
