A translation by Joseph Harris of 'Les fables de Pilpay', 1698, which purported to be a translation of the Kalı̄lah wa-Dimnah, but was in fact a translation, by Gilbert Gaulmin and Dāwūd Saʻı̄d of the first tour chapters of the Persian 'Anvār i Suhaylı̄'.
