Vol. 2 is dated 1799, and has a slightly differently worded titlepage, which includes "an appendix, containing the acts to the end of the session in July, 1798", this being 'A supplement to the third edition of The magistrate's assistant' with a separate titlepage bearing the imprint: "Printed for Messrs. Robinsons and Gardner, London. 1799" and separate register.
The final sections of vol. 2 contains appendices, each with separate pagination and register.
