B3v); the majority of recorded copies lack the additional poem 'The curious females', which, owing to its subject matter (a comparison of pubic hair), may either have been issued without it or have been removed subsequently (cf. Foxon). 'The curious females' was first published as a slip-song in the 1720s (Foxon C546).
