The which day, the Lord Provost, Baillies, Council, and Deacons of Crafts, ordinar and Extraordinar, being conveened in council, appoints Mr Hugh Lin, ... and James Hamilton ... to revise Mr: Robert Monteith's book ... and further, recommends to the said Mr Robert Monteith, to collect ... other inscriptions, ... and print the same, ... and discharge all their printers and other persons, ... to print and sell the sameen [sic] for the space of twelve years; under penalty of confiscation, ... Extracted by George Home.
A leaf numbered 18 on the recto is inserted between D1 and D2 and contains an inscription referred to on p.18.
