Addressed to the Countess of Upper Ossory.
Contains also a "Copy of a second letter found .. the 7th. of Feb. 1788, .. near Ampthill Town's End", addressed to the Earl of Upper Ossory.
The author admits to burning down the stables at Ampthill Park, and threatens to do likewise to the house as well as threatening the Earl and the Duke of Bedford, with violence.
A subsequent letter was published as "Copy of a letter found on Wednesday the 13th. of Feb. 1788, .. at Ampthill Park".
