Text begins: "Gentlemen, the very short canvas I have already been enabled to make since I had the honor of addressing you, gives me the greatest encouragement. ..".
Due to Robert Gregory's withdrawal from the 1790 parliamentary election George Best stood in Gregory's place as a parliamentary candidate for Rochester.
