T1  - Horrid deed!!!Whereas some wicked and ill-disposed Person did, in the Night of the 14th, or early in the Morning of the 15th of Nov. instant, cut the sinew of a cow, above the Hough, the Property of John Cocks, Pitman, when grazing in a Field at Twizell, near Chester-le-Street, which has been the Cause of her Death. - The Atrocity of this vile Action is, if possible, increased, by the Distress it has brought upon the poor Sufferer and his Family; and in order to bring to Justice and Punishment the Person or Persons guilty thereof, a Reward of twenty guineas is hereby offered, to whoever will give Information of the Offender or Offenders, to be paid on his, her, or their Conviction, by applying to John Martindale, of the Flatts, near Chester-le-Street aforesaid.
