A catalogue of choice books in most faculties, [electronic resource] : viz. divinity, history, law, Physick, Mathematicks, Poetry, &c. Amongst which are, Several large House Bibles, Common-Prayers gilt and plain, small Bibles gilt and plain Whole Duties of Man, Burket on the New Testament, Spectators, Tatlers, Guardians, Swift's Miscellanies, Mr. Wright's Travels, Dr. Taylor's Works, Dr. Sherlock's Works, Clark's Sermons, Maps and Pictures neatly engrav'd, with many more valuable Books, to be sold by way of auction, on Monday the 22d of February, and to continue till all are sold, at Mr. Egertons̀, at the sign of the Black-Dog, next door to Peter Potter's shop, in Chester. The Conditions of sale. I. He who bids most is the Buyer. II. If any of the Books appear imperfect before they be taken away, the Buyer to be at his Liberty to take or leave them. III. To expedite the Sale, the Buyer may begin the next Book or Picture at as low a Price as he pleases but not under Two-Pence, and if no advance to have it. IV. The Goods to be deliver'd immediately as they are sold, or the next Morning, and the Money to be paid on the Delivery of the same. V. The Books, &c. may be view'd before the Sale begins.
