R. B. Sheridan, Esq. Mr. Warton, W. Hayley, Esq. W. Cowper, Esq. General Burgoyne, George Keate, Esq. Lord Littleton, Captain Morris, Mr. O'Keeffe, Rev. Henry Bate Dudley, George Colman, Esq. Mr. Jackson, Mr. Pratt, Mr. Dibdin, Miss Smith, Mrs. Cowley, And other eminent Writers. They will be classed in the following Order: 1. Elegiac, pastoral, and pathetic: 2. Humourous, witty, and characteristic: 3. Convivial and bacchanalian: 4. Miscellaneous: 5. Hunting: And, 6. Sea Songs: Catches, Cantatas, Duets, and Glees: The Whole accurately arranged to form the most classical Selection ever published. The second Volume, which is now printing and will finish the Work, will be published on the 4th of June, ornamented with an elegant Engraving. An Edition is printed on good common Paper, Price 2s. 6d. sewed, for the more general Accommodation of the Public. The List of Subscribers will be given in the last Volume. Printed for J.
