@article{574839, recid = {574839}, title = {New College. The committee for conducting the New College among Protestant Dissenters inform the public, that the next Session commences on the 3d Monday in September, and will close on the 1st day of July. The success of this Institution, during the short period that has elapsed since its first establishment, has been very encouraging. The new wing, added to the original building, and opened in September, was wholly occupied during the last Session; and another wing, corresponding to it, and containing a considerable number of very commodious apartments, is almost finished, and will soon be ready for use. Of the eligible situation of the College, and of the local conveniences and advantages that recommend it, nothing need now be said. The Committee and Tutors think it sufficient to assure the Public, that they will assiduously avail themselves of every circumstance that may be conducive to the health, moral conduct, and literary improvement of the young Gentlemen, who shall be intrusted to their care. They also add, that it is a fundamental principle of this Institution, that it be open to persons of every religious denomination, who will be encouraged in forming their sentiments on all controversial subjects, without subscription or any other restriction or imposition.
