The third edition, with four additional designs of Useful architecture; being the last work in this kind of William Halfpenny, Architect and Carpenter, in twenty-five new designs, with full and clear instructions, in every particular, for erecting parsonage-houses, farm-houses, and inns, with their respective offices, &c. of various Dimensions, at the most moderate Expence, the Largest not exceeding Five Hundred Pounds, and the Smallest under One Hundred Pounds. As will evidently appear By their several Dimensions and Estimates Particularly set forth with Respect both to Brick and Stone, Adapted to the usual Measurement of Great Britain and Ireland Together with a supplement, containing several designs for building with timber only, with Estimates annext in like Manner. The four designs added, are for bridges, which in Rural Situations are generally necessary and always pleasing, being suited to small Pieces of Water, Brooks, &c. and the chief Ornament where Strength with Beauty is needful. The Whole intended as an Improvement of what has hitherto been given on that Subject, and rendered both Practicable and Beneficial to all concerned in Building [electronic resource].
