Vol. 2 is dated 1764, but with additions dated 1784, the make-up of this volume being that the text up to p. 584 belongs to the 1764 publication, pp. [585]-654 printed for Roger Long sometime before his death in 1770, and the text from p. 655 written largely by Dunthorn and Wales, and the extended vol. 2 published in 1784.
With seven final leaves containing an Advertisement, dated "June, 1784", which explains the publication history of vol. 2, errata and an index, which has on its final page at foot a colophon, dated 1784: "Cambridge, finished by J. Archdeacon ..".
