Vice-admiral Sir Edward Hughes, knight of the most hon. order of the Bath, commander in chief of a squadron of His Majesty's ships and vessels, employed in the capture and reduction of the Dutch settlement of Negapatam and its dependencies, in the East-Indies; and also the several commanders, officers, marines, mariners, soldiers, and others, on board of, or belonging to, the several ships and vessels composing the said squadron; and also James Heseltine, Esq. procurator-general for our sovereign lord the King. Appellants, against Joseph Huddart, commander of the private ship or vessel of war, called the Royal admiral, on behalf of himself, and of the owners and proprietors, and the rest of the officers and mariners on board of, and belonging to, the said ship, joint-captors of all and singular the goods, wares, merchandizes and effects, taken and seized as lawful prize, at the said settlement respondents.
