A catalogue of the parochial library, in St. Philip's Church Yard, [electronic resource] : Founded by the Rev. William Higgs, M.A. the first rector of St. Philip's, who, besides his own library, consisting of 550 volumes, bequeathed a sum of money, in trust, to the rector of Sheldon, St. Martin's, and St. Philip's, and directed a catalogue to be delivered to the bishop of the diocese for the time being once in three years. As much of Mr. Higgs's benefaction is already expended, donations will be gratefully received from all those who feel themselves disposed to encourage so excellent an institution, the advantages of which the trustees wish to extend to the clergy of the neighbourhood, as well as of Brimingham itself.
