Sir, in consequence of the death of Mr. Hall, the principal clerk to the worshipful the Commissioners of Sewers, &c. of the city of London, the office of under clerk to the said Commissioners will become vacant, by the removal of Mr. Bond and Mr. White (the present 2d and 3d clerks). I have been induced to offer myself a candidate to fill the place of third clerk in the said office, on such vacancy, and humbly beg leave to solicit the favour of your vote and interest on that occasion. ...
