Genealogy of Hay of Paris, in Perthshire. The Hays, anciently designed Lords of Park and Luchloy, in the Shire of Murray, have always been acknowledged, by the family of Errol, as the first cadet of that illustrious house, being, according to the tradition, the line of achaius, the youngest of the two sons who fought with their father against the Danes, and saved the kingdom, at the ever-memorable Battle of Loncarty, about the year of our Lord 980 [electronic resource].
