Though most of the pieces are short, yet there are some of considerable length, such as L' art poėtique, Le Lutrin, La Henride, and the Ververt of Gresset; each of which has frequently been seemed of sufficient length to be published alone, at a price equl to that of the volume before us, which contains forty thousand verses."
